“Our washer has smells like stagnant water.. I noticed that after a wash cycle that there's still water underweight the drum/tub. I can't see the water but I can hear the water if I manually spin the drum. I thought all water should drain. Is this normal?”

You can use Tide washing machine cleaner and follow the instructions on the package to help clean the washer. It is normal to hear a sloshing sound when you move the inner tub in a washer, that is the balance ring. This is an enclosed plastic container partially filled with a saltwater solution. It is attached to the inner clothes basket and allows the basket to spin smoothly should an out of balance situation occur. Joyce@GEAppliances
