• I believe the little black metal thing is a stand that screws into the back of the antenna. That's if you want to just prop it up on your TV stand. The screws and drywall plugs are for mounting it on the wall if you wanted. I just used those removable Command strips to mount mine on the wall behind the TV.

• Screw it into the back of the antenna. It allows the antenna to stay on its side
