• A:Answer typical houses have 15 amp fuses per section of the house. This heater uses 12.5 amps on the high setting and 7.5 amps on the low setting. I use this in my office with a desktop, mini fridge, and dual monitors and have had no issues. However, I usually use it on the low setting. It will just depend on what other electronics you are using in the same room/fuse section.
