typical houses have 15 amp fuses per section of the house. This heater uses 12.5 amps on the high setting and 7.5 amps on the low setting. I use this in my office with a desktop, mini fridge, and dual monitors and have had no issues. However, I usually use it on the low setting. It will just depend on what other electronics you are using in the same room/fuse section.

Please try again later.It will blow a fuse if you have any other high wattage devices plugged in or being used at the same time. Microwave,Vacuum or another heater.

Please try again later.If you plug the heater into a standard outlet, you should be fine. If it does blow the fuse, it is probably because there is another appliance connected either on that outlet or the same electrical line that would cause a blown fuse. Simply connect the heater to another outlet if it does blow.

Please try again later.It has tripped the circuit breaker when it is plugged in and I am running the vacuum cleaner on the same strip. I probably shouldn’t have it plugged into a power strip, but I do. The strip tripped and shut it off along with everything else plugged into the strip. I just unplugged it, finished vacuuming, after I reset the power strip, and plugged the heater back in after I was finished vacuuming.
