how quiet is the fan? null

Its not quiet, but not overly loud. About average. You definitely notice it when it turns on, but after a few minutes, you get used to it. White background noise.

not very quiet, I would not recommend putting it in bedroom, only open living rooms

The fan is mostly quiet on the low setting.
