A:AnswerI have mine hooked to a 20 amp dedicated breaker. I also have to use an extension cord that has the same rating. Barely gets warm. I have used other brands of heaters with this setup and so far no overheating issues. We never leave this unit running when we leave the house. I don't trust units like this because they are made with the cheapest materials possible.
A:AnswerWe use it in the basement where the previous owner built a 13 Ft by 34 Ft den. With the ducts from our home heating system, we manage to keep the temperature in a comfortable range when using the Honeywell. Not an ideal situation as this unit is expensive to run.
Doesn't answer the question, but this is the only information I have concerning heating space.
A:AnswerDo a test it does shut off off you are close or nudge it very sensitive, much more than larger, it turns off immediately if jarred even if still standing, outside is not hot at all to touch, unlike most ceramic heaters
