“My heater about 2 years old. Unit keeps shutting off when I turn it on. Top temperature reading changes to E 1 and shuts off. Have cleaned filter. What else needs to be done?”

Haven't had mine very long. So far no issues with performance. I don't think these heaters have a very long life span.
