Hi Drue, this is not what you should expect. The system should not keep running past the set point. Please verify if the thermostat keeps showing 'Heat On' past the set point and feel free to contact our tech support team at (800) 633-3991 or via Private Message to our Honeywell Home Facebook account. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure you're internet connected as well. If you have heat pump (A/C and heat - I live in Apt complex in Fl. with all main A/C units on outside) select heat pump, not forced air. Also you need to select 'Done' with each selection change before selecting next or it won't set it correctly. Photos will show how I've set up. Hope this helps... Also using a stylus is easier than your fingers. It fits securely right above it, when ready to make any changes.
