This thermostat was exactly what I was looking for. It is value priced, sleek and modern looks. Well thought out interface thats easy to use. The wifi conectivity is great and useful to monitor and change settings over the internet. Well detailed install instructions made it easy to fit to my hvac system. I can see that we have allready saved money with the scheduling features included with this thermostat.

Freshly installed and looks great. I just wanted a simple wifi thermostat that I can control with an app with great looks and this one checks all the boxes. In fact I bought two of them. One during last Black Friday and another this Black Friday. I'm a little bias because both times I got these at a big discount but I don't think you will find that others are much better for the price. The scheduling feature is very intuitive. I personally don't use it as I like to keep it at a certain temp but others might find it useful especially if you are not always in the house. I've had problems with previous thermostats where either the power or wifi would disconnect but I have not had a single problem with this one after 1 year of use.

We bought this smart thermostat around Black Friday savings for $100 which is normally $170. I had noticed that Alabama Power had a $100 rebate at the same time so it worked out really well. This was for a vacation property and we like that we can adjust the temperature on our phones no matter where we live. Installation was straight forward for my handy husband and all the family downloaded the app on our phones. It can work well for those that are handicapped as well since thermostats are usually placed up higher than a person in a wheelchair can reach. We have Ecobee in our main home. The display stays lit up and is easy to change up or down. Very user friendly so I believe once installed it can be easily used by seniors. Overall I would recommend, even if you don’t get it at the lowest sale price!

I really like the way this thermostat is laid out and how it functions. I purchased it for a family vacation home. It allows me to easily check the temperature in the house and change it as required remotely. I like that it can be changed to a schedule when the house is occupied and a static temperature when it's unoccupied. I do wish there was a temperature spread mode that could switch between Cool and Heat automatically that didn't require using the schedule but it is easy enough to just check the app and make changes as required. The app is quite easy to use once you become familiar with it. If you want to get more info at a glance, you can go to the website. The website makes programming a schedule much easier. There is also a way to allow others to access the account so my family members can set temps before they arrive at the house. The display indicates not only indoor temperature, it also indicates the outdoor temperature as well as indoor/outdoor humidity. It was fairly easy to install, however, the video and instructions explaining the onscreen setup didn't match what was on our screen 100%. There was an extra question regarding the efficiency of our fan unit. Our fan unit is over 20 yrs old and there was no efficiency rating on the unit that I could find. I also couldn't find the manual online. So I had to guess that it was under 90% efficient. Additionally, the touch screen is not very responsive. Sometimes it takes 3-5 pokes of the screen to get a touch to register. That is my biggest issue with this thing. I really like the larger always-on screen. I use a Nest thermostat in my office and like the look of the Honeywell and the info it provides better than the minimalis Nest display. It is also easier for my elderly father to operate. The Honeywell was also $50 less expensive than the Nest when I made my purchase. All in all I would recommend it. Especially to people who are already familiar with Honeywell thermostats like me.

This is a great thermostat. It let’s me turn off the heater or AC and adjust the temperature of our house even when I am not home using the thermostat’s app. This is actually the 2nd one that I bought. The 1st one was installed at our house where I get to try its convenience. I bought a 2nd one and installed it at our business place. I also got both thermostat at Best Buy when they went on sale for $129.99. I regret not buying it during the Black Friday week when it was on sale for $99.99. Nevertheless, it was still on sale when I got it, so thank you Best Buy. I believe this thermostat can also be connected to Alexa but the only thing with it is you cannot turn it off or on using Alexa, instead you could only adjust the temperature. Also, I wish I could control both thermostat under one email acct. in the app but unfortunately, I have to make separate accounts for each thermostat. I am happy with this purchase. The thermostats are great and doing their job so far. I highly recommend this product to anyone!

I know Honeywell brand for so long, I work in the technical field in different pharmaceutical and other job site. I almost spend almost $200 dollar in a Nest Thermostat, I refuse to pay that amount! I know this brand so well that, I rather to give them a try because I know the quality and the engineering behind it. Installation took me around 15min, configuration and set up, around the same, download the app, 5min. Also have a -/+ 3 degrees for your offset in case the reading is. it that accurate, same with Humidity have -/+ 12, very easy and friendly to use, I highly recommend this product.

Went through two Nest thermostats on our old HVAC system since it kept turning on the heat when you turned on the AC. I switched it with a digital Honeywell. We recently got a new system and I wanted a programmable WIFI enabled thermostat but not a learning one. I liked the looks and features of this particular thermostat and it was on sale which sealed the deal. It has a nice, easy to read display with different color options and is very easy to use. The smart phone app is simple and has worked so far flawlessly. I highly recommend this thermostat.

The thermostat was very easy to install step by step instructions, maybe 20 minutes to install. What i really like is in one week ive turn on the heat from the app at work when the outside temperature dropped 20 degrees and also turned the heat up 2 degrees once already in bed. The convenience of controlling the temperature while not in front of the thermostat is exactly what i was looking for. Also the ability to change the color of the touch screen is a nice bouns as well.

Installation was easy (Read the manual first!). I replaced a 20 year old Honeywell T8112D1005 that still worked but a pain to program. Note: the common wire was there but had to be connected in the furnace and thermostat. My furnace was not holding temperature after my service provider replaced the blower motor. He was sure it fixed the problem. After setting this unit up on my iPad, I could work with him by the furnace. He then understood that he had to do more diagnostis and foun the problem.

Very easy to set up. App is easy to use, thermostat is easy to use. Communication between app and thermostat is instant. It is modern looking and easy to read. Display it bright but not bright enough to be a disturbance. Temp and humidity can be read from anywhere you have cell service and you can do all the programing either on the app or the device itself. As far as price goes it was on sale for about $70

This thermostat is great. I love the color especially ability to change the screen color when active and not active. The Honeywell app is easy to use as well as the on screen buttons. The Best Buy TotalTech installer was great, cordial and quick. I highly recommend this item for upgrading to current technology.

As Honeywell was the original product, we decided not to get absorbed with all the hype (Ecobee or Nest) and stay with the original and upgrade. Simple features, plate fits closely to the wall where others extend out. Clean and illuminated. Works like the previous version, only has app features. TIPS: remove the previous thermostat and confirm if you have a "C" wire connector. VERY important. Wires are simple to install but take your time to identify precisely which coincide to the proper location. TAKE A PHOTO BEFORE YOU BEGIN REMOVING ANY WIRES! (for reference). Also, be sure you are able to identify the specific unit you currently have; either heat pump or forced air. This will be important when programming your unit otherwise it will not operate correctly. Forget the Tech Support; time consuming and it seems they try to read from information they have available. Although polite, would not consider them any more savy than you are (consider YouTube if you need help). Very pleased with this unit and at a cost savings price from other units!

Installed in about 30 minutes. Had a Smart Home thermostat with Vivant. Wanted to get off the grid and control my own. I can control from my phone as well with more features than I previouly had. Alsome purchas and will be installing in all of my rental properties.

I love it !!! Maintence installed electrically for me, but we both set it up after connecting to internet. Wish the action screens were the same as thermostat itself on my android. But... not really that necessary. Basic on/off, heat/cool is fine. At least the other option is to raise or lower both. I'm in heaven with the ease especially since I'm great with apps.

Great value for the money. Its a really nice looking device with a color LED screen. The manufacturer is iconic in their industry, a real respected name. Its has worked flawlessly. Set up was a breeze. Works with my google nest and an app on the phone. Programing a schedule for the week and weekend was straighforward.

I absolutely love this thermostat, very easy to install and signing into the app to control it from anywhere is the best part. Long hot day in the summer have your house chill and inviting when you get home.

This Honeywell is quality, easy to use, easy to install and will alert you through email if there is a problem with your HVAC. Great product, better than the rest!

Love this thermostat! The option to change the screen color is awesome! Easy to program a/c schedule and download app to control from phone. My home feels colder on 75, I had to adjust the temp....I definitely recommend this thermostat.

By far the best smart home product we have. Integrates with Alexa and install was a breeze. Second one of these we bought as we left the first at our previous house. Able to remotely control temp from any Alexa device or the app. Has become a complete necessity for our home. Made sure to get it on sale, but even without sale is worth the value due to wide integration capability.

The unit is pretty reliable. Not a lot of bills and whistles. Easy to use works with Google home. Wish it had a few more features but it seems this unit is not the flagship device and doesn't seem to get any added features. The unit was easy to install? T He install service from best buy said my system wasn't compatible. Left the unit me. did a Google search and contacted Honeywell. Tech from BB was wrong. He was satisfied with getting paid for trip and mileage. I'm just assuming but the business model may incentives techs, which could turn more appoitments and make about the same. Again just an assumption based on this experience.
