Hi Terri, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will be happy to take a look at this and verify what can be causing it. Our thermostats have the Smart Response feature that starts the system before schedule so it reaches the setpoint by the desired time. You can contact our tech support team at (800) 633-3991. - Maria
