Does the lcd screen "timeout"? Does the backlight ever turn off or is the screen always illuminated. I'd like to install in a bedroom, but if it's always lit, that won't work. (Or can I turn down/off the screen light?) Thanks! null

The screen is always lit, but it dims after about a half minute; the brightness when dim can be set very low or zero. It returns to full brightness when touched.

It does timeout and will turn off.
