“HP Team keeps informing us there is only one memory slot on this model, but there are two memory slots and many folks have added 8GB of RAM in the second and open slot. Apparently the wrong model is being addressed by someone. Please advise.”

there are definitely two memory slots and I have put two 8gb modules in HP 14-cf0012dx model
