QuestionIt was answered before that this can have more RAM installed. How much more RAM? Is there a pre soldered 4GB already installed? What is the total amount of RAM that will operate on this device? What is the spec for an additional card?

- Answer The HP tech that answered this question is incorrect on both statements. I opened my laptop and there were TWO slots, one occupied with a 4GB samsung module DDR4-2400. I installed an additional 8GB module in the second bay and I'm showing 12GB in windows and it's working perfectly.

- Answer I installed an additional 8GB module in the empty RAM slot and am now running 12GB. Get DDR4-2400 SODIMM -- that's the type.

- Answer I just bought this HP laptop yesterday (9/1/2019) and I was able to switch out of S mode and install Chrome. The steps to switch out are not very intuitive. I ended up watching a YouTube video to get help. In this link, go to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4020089/windows-10-in-s-mode-faq, and follow the instructions under "How do I switch out of S mode?"

QuestionI own office 2003. With an external drive can I load office 03 on to this laptop?

- Answer I loaded Office 2007 (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) onto this computer (using an external CD/DVD player which is Windows 10 compatible). Office 2007 works under Windows 10. You need to check to see if your Office 2003 is compatible with Windows 10. If so, you do need to do first make the free change from Windows 10 S to Windows 10 Home. Easy & quick to do this (the procedure is widely posted)!

- Answer Be aware that the response from HP is totally WRONG. This computer does not work with 5G WiFi. I asked this question BEFORE opening the box & putting the unit in service. Now it is too late. It is very disappointing that HP, as the manufacturer, offered an erroneous response

- Answer This model comes with Windows 10 in S Mode. It will only allow Windows Store downloads. If you wish to download or load other programs, you can switch to Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro.

QuestionWill this be able to play WoW classic on medium to low settings?

- Answer This has a Pentium Gold 4417U, so it has half as many execution units as a laptop with an i3 or better. However, it does support DX12 and the latest standards, and I was able to run WoW retail on an even slower system with a Celeron N4000. My guess is that WoW Classic will probably run OK on this laptop, even though it doesn't meet the minimum specs. Adding 4GB of memory probably wouldn't hurt.

- Answer This laptop cannot handle the software. The Focusrite Scarlette Solo software is requiring a processor like Intel i5 with 4 gigabytes of RAM. You would need 8 gigabytes for refills or rack extensions. It is also requiring about 30 gigabytes of storage.

- Answer I just had this exact same issue. The only thing that fixed it for me was clicking the link they sent you, waiting for the page to "load," then hitting next. All the other options produced the same white screen for me and would only let me finish setup when I linked the phone.

- Answer It would be overkill for just internet browsing. It's FAR more capable than just internet tasks. You can do quite a lot with this laptop, especially if you add more RAM which is super easy and cheap to do.
