“This computer seems good to me, but I wouldn't easily be able to access the ports on the back. Is there a similar version with ports on the front? Also, does this have a CD reader/writer? If not, what model has this and the front ports? Thanks!”

You are correct. The ports are only on the back. That is something I hadn't noticed until I set-up the computer in my office. It is a hassle, as I can't access them easily, either. I wound-up buying the j5create - 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub - Black (SKU:4445016) (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/j5create-4-port-usb-3-0-hub-black/4445016.p?skuId=4445016), and it has worked well to solve that problem. I now have 4 easily accessible ports next to my computer (see photo). The DVD/CD burner reads and writes to a variety of media formats, including DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW and CD-R/RW.
