Open domes will not work - these hearing aids require a seal in the opening of the ear canal or feedback occurs. I used the hearing aids for two weeks before returning and never got more than 7 hours usage out of a battery recharge. The recharging case will recharge them twice and the recharge time is only an hour or so.

It depends on what you are doing. If sitting in silence, maybe 8 hours. If streaming audio via Bluetooth, about 5 hours. In normal conversational use, 6 hours,
