• You can not use 2 drives as a single drive. You would need to clone your 128 sdd to a larger sdd and make the larger sdd the C; drive. Yes you will need to remove the 128 drive and after cloned install the larger ssd.

• If you want to upgrade the SSD, you need to remove the current C drive and replace it with a bigger C drive. It can not be combined with the HDD, but you could replace the HDD with a second SSD (SATA) if you wanted to.
