A:AnswerThank you for reaching out. This computer also has a 1TB HDD. You could upgrade the SSD later but the purpose of an SDD is for fast loading of the OS and large files and such. I have a similar set up and never noticed a real difference in playing games (Fortnite, CS:GO, Rust, etc) from the SSD versus the HDD. It could be due to how well they have optimized loading in these games plus they are online without cutscenes etc... I store all my games and documents on my standard HDD and keep my OS and only a few programs (photoshop, after effects) loaded on the SSD. Steam also allows you to easily move games from one drive to the other without having to reinstall. This allows you to download a new game to the SSD then transfer to HDD once you move your focus to a new game later. What I would do is give this set up a try knowing that should you want more storage later you can easily upgrade. This would also allow you to keep an eye out for a great deal on a larger SSD.
A:AnswerHere are some photos: The 310 watt PSU is part # L10875-800. HP Partsurfer got mine to me in 1 business day (paid a bit extra for shipping. As you can see, all the connectors are correct - p1, p2, and p3. This is very easy to do. I bought the Geforce GTX 1050 ti.
A:AnswerThe unit ships with a 180 Watt power supply. That video card requires a minimum 400 Watt system power supply. I would recommend upgrading to a 500 Watt system power supply. You should ensure that any candidate supply will physically fit within the case.
A:AnswerAny computer will run louder when doing high amounts of processing.

I barely hear mine except when i have nothing else on, like the tv.
A:AnswerThis model does not have an AMD GPU so it does not support freesync. If you want a desktop which works best with your monitor you need to look for a model with something along the lines of an AMD RX580.
A:AnswerThank you for reaching out. This computer has Windows 10 Home preinstalled. Microsoft makes upgrading to Pro easy if you need the features it offers. You can do so from the Microsoft Store on the computer.
A:AnswerYou can not use 2 drives as a single drive.
You would need to clone your 128 sdd to a larger sdd and make the larger sdd the C; drive.
Yes you will need to remove the 128 drive and after cloned install the larger ssd.
A:AnswerI like Best Buy Customer service and rewards program, From the symptoms you describe, please backup any data you may have and you have 2 main options
You are still under warranty so do not waste time do it as Soon as possible.
1. with your receipt, Return said computer and let them know, the issues you are having with this model leaves you with a vote of no confidence in this model and you would like a replacement of "Like" Kind. meaning the same value of your purchase price. Currently It is slim pickings for Quality desktops but the 2 below are good even if they are Dell
2. You can have them fix it for you, take it to the geek squad. they may just reset it to factory default which will not solve the issue or decide it needs replacing, let them try
I hope this was helpful
Should you decide to stick with this model I suggest keeping an extended warranty on this product. (When we buy a product that we feel has value and quality; the expectation is that is should be a good product and work as it is advertised
A:AnswerI agree. I have the same problem. I hate it being on its side too. Makes it more difficult to put the CD in and take it out. For as much as this computer cost, They really cheapened things, like the CD player door and the mouse.
A:AnswerYou have a camera that holds 20,000 pictures?? I had more picture than that on my computer and it was fine. But I recommend you get some external hard drives to keep your pictures on. I have the 3 below.
