“I hve owned this computer for 39 sometimes it wont turn on, sometimes. We hve to let it sit overnight.... Do all of these machines do this?”

This is not typical. Are you sure the computer is turning off and not entering a hibernating state? Could you try holding the power button for 30 seconds and then seeing if it will turn on afterwards. If that does not work I recommend reaching out to HP support or Best Buy Geek Squad to assist with troubleshooting.

When I got mine there were numerous updates that had to be done. Afterwards I checked for updates daily through settings. I do not use automatic updates as I prefer to review the update first. Second, shutting down the machine properly is a must. So far I like this HP over the Dell I had in the past. Lastly if you cannot resolve the problem contact tech support. Bud
