This HP PC does have 1 user-accessible memory slot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The 5th gen i7 should support 16gb according to intel specs. There's at least one manufacturer that makes a single 16gb ddr3l chip. I've used it in a few dell's with only one slot. Since this has another chip not user accessible I'm not sure if it would work. Oh and it's very pricey.
