A:AnswerWe had a power outage for more than 1/2 day and nothing happened in the freezer. If it is fairly full you would be fine without the generator. If you do use the gen put the freezer on low and it may not even come on.
A:AnswerThis is a Best Buy brand called Insignia. They have products contracted/specifically made to their specifications and generally are a little cheaper. I've had 2 of these freezers for around a year now and they work fine.
