The last freezer I had was kept in the garage for 25 years…in hot Texas heat. Never had a problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't store a freezer in the garage, if its hot outside the garage will be hot also causing freezer to work harder possibly burning up compressor and this hot location while making freezer work harder will use more electricity.
