How much power does this unit draw? We are expecting a planned power outage for at least half a day in my area and plan to run it on a 1600w rated gas generator. Would like to possibly add other things to generator (fans / tvs) if possible. null

We had a power outage for more than 1/2 day and nothing happened in the freezer. If it is fairly full you would be fine without the generator. If you do use the gen put the freezer on low and it may not even come on.
