“I am using you Insignia Laser Lens Cleaner on my DVD player on Track 9 as instructed but there is no indication to show progress.....just a whirring sound once in awhile. How long should it take just sitting at the start of Track 9.”

Once it's done playing it's track, it's cleaned the lens. Playing a track causes it to spin, which lets the bristles brush the lens that reads the disc.
