Does the Insignia Garage Door Controller require the garage door opener (Overhead Door Legacy) to be programmed to add the Insignia device? If so, that may cause one of my remote openers to be removed. I believe my opener only supports a maximum of 3 remotes.

Although you want to be sure that there is a strong Wi-Fi signal in the spot where the device will be as it needs fulls bars to operate correctly. The best way to test this is to hold a cell phone up near the garage doo opener and see that you have full bars.
