“I was wondering if these get installed to existing wall plates or if it has its own. I currently would like to use this for my basement and the location has a double switch wall plate. I really just want it for one side and not sure if I can use this.”

You can use the plate that comes with it or any plates that you find elsewhere. I currently have 3 of them in one 4-plate. They are standard size for all wall plates.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you are using the traditional skinny switches you should replace your second switch with a similar rectangle switch and replace the wall plate with a 2 gang rectangle style.
