Neither unfortunately. It’s manually started and manually returned to the charging base or plug. It will, however, return to the starting point when it’s completed it’s job so you don’t have to go searching for it and is pretty thorough whether it’s “Swiffering” or mopping (beats all of the people in my house including myself and I’m labeled for being OCD)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope. It relies on the northstar cube to navigate it around. I'm not impressed with this. I wish it was like the roomba and learned the rooms as it goes. This only goes as far as it's connection to the cube. Depending on the size of your room(s) and the amount of walls, you may need multiple cubes and don't place them near your tv by the way.
