Scans, maps and methodically cleans each room
Smart sensors as well as cliff-detection sensors help the robot avoid stairs, area rugs and raised transitions to carpeted areas to effectively clean your home.
Determines which areas have been cleaned and which ones require attention
NorthStar navigation works like an indoor GPS to clean until the job is done.
Effectively cleans your living spaces
Wall-following technology helps the robot mop along walls, baseboards and edges. 3.1" low profile cleans under furniture, beds and kickboards.
Up to 1,000 sq. ft. dry-mopping coverage area
Along with damp-mopping coverage up to 350 sq. ft. to keep an expansive area clean. Additional NorthStar cubes (not included) expand dry-mopping coverage up to 2,000 sq. ft.
Maintains a damp cloth during use
The Pro-Clean system along with a reservoir cleaning pad dispenses liquid throughout the cleaning cycle to ensure reliable performance.
Clean large spaces efficiently
An 8-1/2" cleaning path width covers a wide swath of flooring with each pass and battery-powered design allows the vacuum to clean a vast expanse of flooring before charging.
Easily clean hard-to-reach areas
The compact, lightweight design weights just 4 lbs. and fits under most sofas, tables and more. A soft-touch bumper helps prevent damage caused by impact.
Simple power replenishment
Turbo Charge Cradle recharges Braava quickly.

Robot Mop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The robot mop cleans ok. Not as good as a human, but does the job. I really like that you can use your own cloths or Swiffer cloths if you choose. I am satisfied so far with this purchase. My only complaint is that I purchased this product listed as Open Box Excellent, but it had clearly beed used and was missing batteries (which does not follow their description of Open Box Excellent).

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best thing created since sliced bread!! Love her. So quiet. Cleans great. I'm spreading the word. I use pre wet Swiffer pads. Works great. House smells so clean .easy to load. I had back surgery so this is perfect. Also bought the Roomba. Bundle it. Will not regret it !

good robot
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought this along with the roomba 650 to help with the floor cleaning in between the deep manual cleans. The Braava 380t did its job. The first day i ran it with the floor extremely dirty. I have two dogs and they get my laminate floors dirty with paw tracks and dog slobber. I didnt except this robot to completely clean up the high traffic soiled areas. It did clean it up pretty good though. It took about an hr for it to clean up a 500 sqft area. It did a great job at recognizing rugs. Overall im very happy with the purchase and its doing what i expected it to. The only thing that kept if from getting 5 stars is Irobot could improve the navigation system.

Cleans well, but the cube is annoying
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This isn't like the roomba where it will map out your home. It uses cubes that project on your ceiling. This works fine for the room where you place the cube, but doesn't work well with one cube and multiple rooms. It holds enough water to clean half of a 1400 square foot apartment, but it only partially cleans two of three rooms. In the two smaller rooms it looses the signal from the cube which I place in the largest room. This should have been designed like the roombas or the Braava jet 240 where it doesn't require the cube and just simply maps out the rooms when cleaning. The Braava jet 240 doesn't hold enough water and doesn't use cloths as the 380t does. The cloths are a plus as you can use them, wash them, then reuse. The cloths are like common lint free clothes. They seem to be made of the same material. The mop doesn't try to go on carpet, so no worries there. The 380t is larger than the 240, so I suspect the 240 would clean in a few places in my apartment where the 380 doesn't fit, but it's only a couple places where the 380t doesn't clean. The larger size does give more room for a larger battery compared to the 240 thereby giving the 380 plenty of runtime. The 380t shouldn't entirely replace mopping. It should take care of your floors in between the times that you mop which it does well. If your hardwood/tile floors are small (300 square feet or smaller), I would recommend looking at the 240, but if your rooms are much larger as mine are, the 380t is the better one to go with even with having to deal with the cube since you won't have to keep adding water multiple times per cleaning. Of note: the 380t is manual start so it doesn't have scheduling capabilities and doesn't connect to any app. For some this may be a deal breaker, but since I have to fill it with water before each cleaning, I have to handle the 380t anyway, so it not having scheduling capabilities wasn't a problem for me. All of these mops will be much better when iRobot adds a built in water heater and full scheduling capabilities.

iRobot - Braava 380t is a great start
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first impression is the iRobot - Braava 380t is a great auto Swiffer. This isn't intended to say there is anything wrong with it in any way. But you have to keep in mind that there isn't any type of vacuuming actually happening. It simply uses a pad (you can actually use the Swiffer pads) and pushes the dirt around. It DOES indeed do a good job at this, but if you are looking for a vacuum, you'll need to look at another model. I'm pleased with the "mop" feature. You just change to the other pad and base, fill with water, and set it to go. This is still Swiffer style of mopping. The map system does do a fairly good job. After I rearranged the living room it took a little longer for it to re-learn the layout but it did get it done. My plan is to keep this for the "mop" feature and get a second model that will actually vacuum. Just haven't decided on what model fits our needs just yet. With what I know now after making the purchase, I would still purchase this again if I had it to do all over. 90% of our house is hard wood floors and this does a good job of the light work. We just set it to run at night and put it back on the charger in the morning. SUPER quite (due to no vacuum feature) The bump sensor works well. I haven't noticed it hit anything hard.

Worth buying
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Initially I was not sure if the Braava was worth the money - after all it is not a big deal to sweep and mop floor, but after using it for a couple of months I am sold on this little worker. The iRobot does it's job while I can relax and enjoy, and it does more thorough job than I would do. One cube covers 2 rooms and the hallway and it takes about 45 minutes to finish sweeping. Mopping takes longer, but it covers the same surface in one charge. My floors were never this clean and shiny. Why the 4 stars, then? 2 things could have been improved: 1. This unit is, basically, a computer and I believe the software keeps improving with time, but iRobot doesn't allow the software update. For such an expensive sweeper/mop a USB port could have been added to download the upgrades, or, better yet, OTA upgrades, like cell phones have. As it is, we soon are going to be stuck with an outdated model. 2. Only the lower part of the unit is padded for protection against hitting the furniture, but sometimes it is the upper part of the unit that hits a bottom of my low-standing desk, and it is not protected, so I am afraid it is going to break soon. Other than that - it is a nice little hardworking unit. If you like rest more than work - you are going to appreciate it.

I like my Braava
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like my Braava so much! I recomend this Irobot Braava. I use often! The only concern that I have is that some times, if you put him in a small places like bathroom he get stuck, but it is ok, no big deal!!! Oh, also, he did not clean if the dirt is stuck at the floor.

Q: QuestionWhat does the robot do when it encounters a rug? Do rugs need to be picked up before using the robot?
Asked by JAbt.
- A:Answer The sensor makes it avoid rugs so you don't need to move any rugs when Braava is working.
Answered by emlee1
Q: QuestionWould it be ok for laminate
Asked by yogi.
- A:Answer Yes. It is just a dry mop or can be a moist mop. It doesn't spray anything - it just has a moist microfiber cloth that wipes the floor. It would be perfect for any hard surface.

Q: QuestionDoes it clean large areas well? I have a large 1000 square foot tiled area in my home. Will it clean the floor well without leaving streaks?
Asked by bookfan44.
- A:Answer Yes, it does clean large areas. I have wood floors and it cleans without leaving streaks. I do use a white vinegar and water cleaning solution. Some "soap" based cleansers can leave residue.

Q: QuestionI have an open floor plan with my living room, dining room and kitchen all open to each other. Will this clean all 3 rooms? Also, my office and a half bath are downstairs as well, will it go into those rooms if the doors are left open?
Asked by GuessWho78.
- A:Answer Yes to both questions. You will probably want to pause it while doing the large area to wash the cloth and be sure you have enough water. I am not sure that the battery will last long enough to do all of the areas at once. I do all my floors over two or more days. I set it in an area one day, then charge it over night and do another area the next day or so. This works well for me.
