Does it clean pet hair on dark carpet very well null

Yes! It gets my pet hair from my dark beige carpet and my thinner dark brown carpet too.

For cat hair, it cleans better than any vacuum I have ever owned including an electrolux and my new miele brands.

I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I empty the tray more often when the Roomba runs on carpet versus hardwood floors. I think it's as clean as when I use an upright vacuum. The Roomba probably doesn't have as strong of suction power, but it goes over the floor slowly over and over so it still picks up a lot.

Yes but the real short white hairs get stuck easier, you well have to put a little elbow power when you do it but it will work.
