• I do not believe this model mirror cast anything from your phone. It has a USB cord that you can hook to your phone to project Waze or YouTube and the weather on the receiver screen. As far as I know, that's it. I have Android and my son has Apple. After downloading a couple apps to our phones, we still get very little functionality from this stereo.

• There is a unique way by purchasing a 3rd party cable. I recommend contacting Kenwood Customer Care so they can promote how to make it work with your unit
