QuestionI will be using android auto. I know most require you to plug in your phone but I do not see an USB plug on the radio. How would I plug in my phone?

- Answer I've been using my android auto app and it automatically syncs with the system without the usb plug. I've only had to use the plug for waze and Kenwood features. Its a separate cable that is run from the back of the system into your vehicle if you need it.

QuestionI have purchased both Kenwood and now a Pioneer and both had major glare and reflection to where you could not see the screen in daylight. I see this has "anti-glare, anti-reflection" does it work?

- Answer Yes, it have navigation, text, all alerts through the speakers. (As long as you are connected through bluetooth or with your phone plugged in) i love my new touch screen radio!

QuestionI just bought this system and had it installed by best buy where i also bought it from for some reason it will not mirror my samsung s6 or do anything the radio works but will not link my phone to gps or my numbers in my phone alphabeticaly?

- Answer In order to mirror, you must use a MHL cable provided by phone Samsung. the standard USB cable will not work.. Once you have this adapter, then you can mirror.

- Answer This is an older post and you probably found an answer but...To get my Android 9 phone to work with I had to go into developer options and change the WebView app to Chrome instead of the default android app. Len207

- Answer In a round-a-bout way it does. You can pair this unit with your smartphone (Apple or Android), then use the Waze app that is preinstalled in the unit to pull up navigation and maps. This requires you to download the Kenwood and Waze apps from the Google play or Apple store onto your smartphone. It works great on mine once you get the apps sync'd up.

QuestionI Recently installed Kenwood DDX6705S on my Jeep Cherokee sport '98 (Had to make some modifications.) Got it to work, i also go it to play movies from External harddrive.... only problem is the audio does not play.... am i missing something ?

- Answer This could be a fault of the actual movie or type of extension it is. What type of video is it? This unit accepts MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG-4, MKV, WMV Do you get audio from any movie to work? I recommend to call Kenwood customer Care. This should definitely work in your favor
