Is car play/android auto wireless or bluetooth? null

For android auto, you can connect your phone wireless via bluetooth or connect it to the radio via a USB port. The wireless connection depends on the phone that you have. I have an LG 40 thin and the wireless doesn't work with my phone but connected via the USB port works great. My phone does link up to the radio for phone calls etc. but not wireless android auto.
