A: I've been using my android auto app and it automatically syncs with the system without the usb plug. I've only had to use the plug for waze and Kenwood features. Its a separate cable that is run from the back of the system into your vehicle if you need it.

Q: Will I hear the navigation through the speakers?
A: Yes, it have navigation, text, all alerts through the speakers. (As long as you are connected through bluetooth or with your phone plugged in) i love my new touch screen radio!
Q: Is the ddx6704s capable of using the interface for steering wheel controls
A: Yes, this is compatible with steering wheel controls.
A: In order to mirror, you must use a MHL cable provided by phone Samsung. the standard USB cable will not work.. Once you have this adapter, then you can mirror.
Q: How do you reset these models to factory?
A: there is a setting in settings that says initialize that resets it too factory.
Q: What is the updates to the DDX6704S? I can't really find any info on this newer 6705 model.
