QuestionI just purchased this. The bowl fits into the loops on the side. Is it supposed to attach to the stand itself. There is a little nub, thatsticks out from the bowl. However, the bowl will not attach to the piece that it looks like it should fit into.

- Answer I was having some trouble finding the way too, but I found out the bowl and machine needs to have a little pressure until you hear a click and will have your bowl going. I hope this help you.

- Answer Hi Cookie, The stand mixer will not peel Butternut squash. KitchenAid does offer an attachment for the stand mixer that will peel fruits and vegetables.

QuestionI have a kitchen aid model no KG25HOXER when I lift the bowel it hits the beater before the bowel will lock. I have tried other beaters but no difference

- Answer The screw facing the bowl, behind the "Bowl lift bracket" is the adjustment for bowl travel~ I believe counter clockwise, to raise, clockwise to lower~ 1/4 turn at a time~ You'll get it~ Just evertime you adjust, click the bowl back in, and raise it with the paddle it~ That is the measure! - Answer The bowl will snap down on the bowl lift pins and lock in place by pushing down on the back of the bowl. You then lift the bowl up into place to start mixing.
