The LG Wash Tower (WKE100HWA) model is similar to a stacked washer and dryer set, where if one component fails, the whole unit must be replaced since the washer and dryer are integrated and not designed to be replaced individually. - Answer I had the same question and it all depends on you. If you purchase the installation package with bestbuy ( dont know how it is called), they will install and connect your appliance. If you do like I did, no instalation package, you will need to buy the power cord for the dryer( the washer comes with power cord attached). You can buy at homedepot for around $30. The power cord type will depend on the socket you have in the wall.

QuestionWhat do you do if the Dry Level isn't working. I set the level of dryness and then it estimates a time and then when it's over, the clothes are not dry. This initially worked but somehow the sensor stopped working? I now have to use the Time Dry only.

QuestionFor the Dryer, how much energy do you save on Energy Saver compared to Normal on the Dry Mode setting? Does it use 3/4 the amount of energy? 1/2 the amount of energy? Thanks!

- Answer Thank you for your answer! It sounds a little like 30% is for the dryer in general, so if the 30% is for the energy saver, then wouldn't the normal setting STILL be better than a regular dryer, since it's recycling the hot air, so that the comparison between the normal and energy saver settings is more like a 15% or 20% difference?
