QuestionWhat size dryer do I need to handle a full load from a 5.2 cu ft washer?I bought a 5.2 cu ft washer and my dryer cannot handle a full load. I'm having to dry a half a load at a time. What size dryer do I need for this size washer?

- Answer I bought the 7.3 CU FT dryer and it fits a full load from a 5.2 CU FT washer just fine.

Ultra Large High Efficiency SteamDryer™ w/ SteamSanitary™ has a Steam Feeder that must be manually filled with water up to the MAX line before the Steam Feature can be used. Distilled water cannot be used because the water level sensor in the steam generator will not work. The Steam Feeder should not be filled with foreign substances, rinse agents, or detergents!...IFV

- Answer Yes, this dryer is heavy duty and the drum is huge. There are numerous setting for all different drying situations.

QuestionHow much depth space is needed for this dryer?

- Answer The specifications say the product depth is 28 3/8". To that you will have to add the depth of the dryer vent, if it is venting from the back and the dryer vent is protruding from the wall. You may want to check your current laundry configuration. In my case I had to allow for an extra 4" in the back for the vent.

QuestionCan I Turn the Light On during the operation to watch?Is there a way to turn the light on during the operation of the dryer so I can watch it tumble through the window? I don't see a button on the control panel for the light so it makes me wonder if it is even possible to do. I know the light will come on after it is finished when opening the door but I want to be able to watch it in action. thanks.

- Answer Yes.. you must hold down the "Wrinkle Prevent" button down for approx. 3 seconds while the dryer is in it cycle.

- Answer Yes! We have a DLEX9000V that we bought approximately a year ago. It has literally destroyed our good blouses. At first we thought that it was the zipper on another shirt, but even after removing that shirt, it was still snagging runs in everything. Yesterday I leaned down into the drum to look around and as I did, my hand was poked on something sharp. I ran my hand around the drum and there are actually burrs all over in it. Just to make sure I wasn't crazy,, I asked my daughter to check it....and she instantly caught a sharp metal burr that ripped her skin. Together, we've probably had about $500 worth of clothing completely destroyed. Tomorrow we'll be calling customer service for sure.

- Answer in the manual and website it can be vented to the left, I'm not sure about the right, ,I would check both of those locations and it will let you know.

QuestionAdding time to preset settingsI'm curious if before starting a load you can add time to the total time it will run. For example, if I know that the "cotton" setting always needs an extra 20 minutes to get my clothes dry, can I add that time when initially choosing that preset or not? Thanks!

QuestionJust got this dryer...The white Energy Star certified version. Ran a Normal/Cotton cycle about half full, let it run 40 minutes, am clothes were still wet and felt zero heat. I switched to Heavy Duty to get clothes dry, and dryer is at least getting hot. What can I do to rectify this problem? Delivery person told me this when he dropped it off, that they thought some of these dryers they droped off were "broken" due to the same issue. Anything I'm missing here?

- Answer My Amana dryer at first, I dryed sweatpants and sweat shirts that were still damp or wet. I unplugged the 220 plug for about 3-5 minutes then plugged it back in and it resets the computer and it has been drying good ever since ,So I will do this once in a while if I have too or not? This worked for me or call the manufacture and tell them your problem?

- Answer It could, I needed about 32 inches of depth for this dryer and that includes space to run the vent hose behind it.
