No, it is not waterproof
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to Lorex, they are rated IP67 (Lorex product page: https://www.lorextechnology.com/D841A62-8DA-Series-1-p?skuId=sku1980001 .) As far as I know that means that the camera is totally waterproof down to 1m for 30min. [Further, they are good down to -40 degrees Fahrenheit according to Lorex (not -22 as listed at Best Buy.)] HOWEVER, I do not believe that the connection between the camera and the in-wall cables is waterproof. It must be protected. I have one camera outside where is sees a lot of rain and mist under a narrow soffit. The connection is protected, and the camera has been working quite well for a month or so now.
