A regular rainfall shouldn’t affect reception. High winds, fog and heavy rain, however, can interfere with reception because they affect how the TV signals reach your antenna. Poor reception in inclement weather occurs because the signals are getting disrupted as they are traveling from the towers to your antenna. There is nothing wrong with the antenna so wait until the weather clears up and reception should improve.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So far rain has not affected reception.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Windswept rain and snow affect my reception as well as my solar panels. I'm also in a fringe area 30+ miles away from most towers so that doesn't help as well. I've had to resort to mounting my 70+ mile range antenna high in a tree in my yard to get away from my solar panel electro-magnetic interference as well. For the most part I get excellent reception. Its just annoying if I am trying to watch football on a stormy day!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No rain even downpour won't affect reception. Lightning will create picture tear but only if close by then only for split second.
