I am looking at moving from T-mobile to Verizon and moving off my BlackBerry Classic to the M-Edge+. I want to keep my number though. If I buy the phone unlocked and with activation at Best Buy, can I have them move it or do I need to go through Verizon? null

Best Buy shipped mine to me. All you have to do is pull the SIM card from your old phone and put it in the new one, follow the on screen prompts and wahla the phone number, your apps and most of your passwords migrate to your new phone. I did have to ask Verizon to change a network setting to match the default text message format. I got lucky and dialed a Verizon tech who knew just what to do without looking it up. Took two minutes.
