A: My initial unit had the display issues. I sent it back to Motorola after they'd shipped me a replacement. no issues since then.
A: Yes, this phone will work on Cricket Wireless. It works on any carrier including MVNOs that use a particular carrier. For example, I use Mint Mobile with the Edge and I get great coverage and 5G from TMobile network. Having said that, as of now, while the phone will work on Cricket, you will NOT get 5G with it, only 4G LTE. If you don't care about not having 5G then you're good to go.
