You can do the activation, then can always replace/swap the SIM (for another carrier/service & arrange activating that with other carrier/service). Can someone from Best Buy provide info about the terms & conditions of the with activation plans? Especially for cancellation of carrier/service, & unlocked phones. (I don't know. Speculation: I doubt you can cancel the with activation plan immediately. Likely have to pay for at least 1 month of carrier/service, & insure cancel after that. I haven't seen the official conditions for the with activation offer/deal.)
