Your biggest problem is that the 20xx series RTX laptops have started coming out, and they're pretty comparable to what the 10xx series laptops are now. Depending on how well cared for your specific laptop is, you could potentially squeeze $1000 out of it, but it's going to be a dice shoot. Your best bet is probably going to be eBay.
