Quick question, this extender seems to be working great, but I do not see the traditional extender name to chose from... network name_5GEXT any thoughts on how this extender labels its networks? null

This is a mesh extender. The unit mimics your SSID. There is no _5EXT whatever tag to look for.

Depends on how you set it up. It can use the same SSID as your router or the EXT SSID. Check your configuration.

By default it will clone same network name without the _ext. This is better because with same SSID:
- You have one Wi-Fi name
- Devices choose the strongest signal automatically
- No manual switching
- Better experience for:
 - TVs
 - Streaming sticks
 - Video calls
 - Smart home devices
If you setup with _ext name your devices may not switch automatically and remain on the weaker signal.

I have the same difficulty. It appears that the extender has no seperate name
