I have had my Netgear modem about one month, and not one drop with Xfinity have I experienced. Maybe you should ask Xfinity to check your line coming into where you are using the connection. Squirrels have been known to chew through those lines, diminishing bandwidth and/or causing signal loss and fluctuation.

Had Comcast out 3-4 times, at the end they said the modem will not sync with the network properly. Unknown if its a modem issue or comcast wanting their equipment rental.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bought Jan 2023 Feb1, started having to reboot every few days when it would drop connection to Comcast. Never drops completely...usually comes back on its own, but then gets spotty on/off/on until I reboot.
