A:AnswerYes you need a modem and a router unless Comcast is providing those for you already. And the router must be wireless
Roku is designed for TVs that aren’t smart so it will work as long as you have an available HDMI slot.
Speed needs to be at least 100 in my opinion
Good luck
Roku is the way to go then consider YouTube TV
We love it and cheap too
A:AnswerI do not know. It worked with Comcast, however, I was not getting the speed necessarily for streaming. I returned mine and am using a Comcast supplued router.

A:AnswerYou may want to change the channel used by 5g connection.
I changed mine from the default via the admin program to a lower number like 48 and my 5g connection was then visible and available.

A:AnswerYou should be able to use this router connected through ethernet or WiFi. As far as Xfinity bill, mine was going through the ceiling too. I removed DVR/whole house from second tv and added Roku to it that streams Xfinity at No Additional Cost in your home. Cancel the phone line! One other thing you might try is three way bundle with Internet, TV, and Security. My bill actually decreased significantly with the bundle. I did hate the $100 installation so try to negotiate that.
A:AnswerHey meme I was writing a review and got suggested to help w/ your question.
Yes it will work with Wi-Fi if your computer has capability to connect to WI-FI. There are adaptors you can connect to a t.v. to make it read WI-FI also.
This can all vary depending on the type of t.v. you own and I would suggest giving BestBuy a call and talk to someone so they could help you out directly!
Good luck and if you do purchase this modem/router you will be happy you did.
A:AnswerI don't know why it wouldn't. This a great modem. It will be even greater when Netgear fixes the random reboot that happens every day. I am on my second one and it has the same problem.
