A:AnswerNo, this rooter will not work. it will not work with FIOS because FIOS has it's own fiber optic wire that you must use and that wire only matches up to their equipment.
A:AnswerThis will act as a modem and router, so you don't need another modem. This is a nice upgrade some old modems are not longer supported by Comcast
A:AnswerI believe so. But check from a more reliable source. My service is supposed to be 100mbs. I have clocked as fast as 175mbs. And it doesn't break a sweat.
A:AnswerYou shouldn't need to uninstall your printer drivers from your computer, but you would need to connect all of your wireless devices to your new wireless connection. Your current network will go away when you replace your current modem/router. Geek Squad does offer in-home networking help. You can learn more in the recommendations, by visiting your local store, or by calling 1 (800) 433-5778.
A:AnswerNo, this is a modem (with wifi and routing capabilities) and it uses the coax jack to communicate with your ISP. I imagine it would mess with your service if not completely shut it down. If you are just wanting to extend wifi range, get either just a Nighthawk wifi router (which is built into this modem, you just don't need the modem portion) or get a wifi range extender.
A:AnswerHi Eddieg3, I had Comcast also, but I cut them out altogether. All I have with them now is high-speed internet and this modem/router handles it without any issues. I actually saw this in use at a relative's home and they have the Comcast bundle, running it through this modem without any issues also. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerI don't know since I bought the AC 1900 router for Comcast. You may want to check with Verizon. However, it might work for Verizon Fios since it has all the feature of the Verizon Fios router which I used to rent from Verizon.
