A:AnswerThis Modem Router combo took place of the rented modem from TDS I originally had. I had to call the customer support team to add the Modem to our home (no hassles)
Currently I have two bands of Wi-Fi from this modem router combo
A:AnswerI don’t use 1gb from suddenlink, the reason is because the installation guy says that you may never even get close to 1gb even with this device. You’ll most likely sit about 800. If you’re in the city though, it may be possible. (Example: I’m in Georgetown and won’t get 1gb, but if I lived in Austin the chance I could get it is much greater)
A:AnswerNO, I have Comcast Xfinity. TV is independent of your router and uses their own controls and remotes. You need a Cable router with a telephone jack (RJ-11) which this router lacks.
A:AnswerI don't think you would need an extender with this modem and router because it works really well! It works well even when I am way outside of the house. However, you might need an extender if your walls are center block or your home is very, very, large.
