“This device get really hot. And the only place I can put it is right next to where my bed is, which concerns me. How hot can this device withstand? Will it cause explosion or melting? Again, I am just concerning. HAs anyone else have this problem?”

I checked my access point unit and it is warm, but not hot. I would either contact NextGear or the guys at Best Buy. They really know their stuff. Maybe it's faulty. If faulty, they should be able to switch it out. If you are not happy with it, get in touch with them by the 14th day.
