• Yes. If you have an eight channel then you can have ever up to eight cameras.

• Good morning. Without knowing the model series of the DVR, we won't be able to give you a definitive answer on its compatibility with these cameras. Although the rule is that Night Owl AHD cameras are ONLY compatible with AHD DVR models. You can find the model number of your DVR on the sticker underneath the device. Compatible DVRs will have a model number including "AHD7" or "AHD10." Thanks for choosing Night Owl.
