  • QuestionAnyone have issues with their carafe not staying warm? The coffee is very hot when I use the single cup option, but when I make a pot it isn’t very hot.

    Asked by Cjjr.

    • Answer I’m having trouble getting the Warmer option to turn on. I’ve made full pots and never see the Warmer icon lit up. I choose the correct brew cycle. Also can’t see the boil or hot temp indicators since I first started the setup. Don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

  • QuestionMust I use the pods for single cup?

    Asked by Patty.

    • Answer My CFP305 bought from Best Buy did not come with an adapter for the K-cup style. And it has three nozzles so none of the aftermarket adapters work. You also can't use any easily available permanent cone filters. They don't fit. And the one Ninja sells is always out of stock. I would definitely not buy this coffee maker again for these reasons.

  • QuestionSo this is the cfp305? Or is it actually the cfp301?

    Asked by mark.

    • Answer I just set it up today, but have been comparing models for some time now. This is the CFP305, which is closest to the CFP301. Only difference appears to be 301 has a glass carafe and warmer plate, 305 has no warmer plate but a stainless steel carafe. I was hesitant to buy the metal carafe, as I like to see how much coffee is in the pot, but I read reviews comparing carafes in general, and the metal is considered better for holding heat for hours, and usually costs more, whereas the glass pot and warmer will burn the coffee the longer it sits (which does seem to be true). I'm not sure there is a CFP307 as someone suggested - I think they are thinking of the CP307 which is totally different. It's a sleek unit (both models), and can fit in a thinner width than most combo models (not much wider than the single keurig I had previously). I had previously bought the Hamilton Beach and returned it, as it was too wide and I did not like how it worked.

    • Answer No it does not heat the milk. You need to pop it in the microwave for 30-45 seconds or froth it cold.

  • QuestionDoes this also make tea using tea bags??

    Asked by Lexi.

    • Answer Hello Lexi. I have the dualbrew pro and love it. Regarding tea bags, the system has a separate water line that boils water for instant oatmeal, instant mac and cheese, or instant soup, tea. In other words, it gives you boiled water dispensed in a mug or whatever you use that can withstand water at that temperature. Then you can pour your oatmeal or drop a tea bag and let it steep. I have another knock off machine at work that I use for coffee and tea pods. Only issue is that I have to brew hot water first and then insert my tea pod otherwise my tea will taste like coffee. But the ninja has a separate water line for making hot water. I hope this answered your question.

    Asked by Cathy.

    • Answer you just hit upon a feature that is lacking in this model - no ability to filter the water. I use filtered water to load it so it's not a huge deal for me, but it's something everyone should know before purchasing.
