• I was worried about this too. It fits under the cabinet and the grounds cup slides back rather than up. It could be a little tight getting the ground in, but you can just slide forward.

• Yes, fits fine under our cabinets, though you may have to pull it forward to remove the pod adapter to make conventional coffee.

• The unit will fit when the lid is closed, but you'll have to pull it out to raise the top to insert your filter or k-cup. My cabinets are the same height and it's only a minor inconvenience.
